Kharlovka report, week 24 (6-12 June 2026)
The first full week of June on our rivers brought plenty of memorable moments, beautiful fish, and unforgettable experiences for our guests. Despite the ever-changing northern weather, fishing remained productive, and the anglers' enthusiasm only grew stronger with each passing day.
Weather conditions varied throughout the week. Cool sunny days were followed by sudden drops in temperature, with air temperatures ranging from +8°C to +18°C. Water temperatures gradually increased from 10.5°C to 13.4°C, while water levels continued to fall, creating favorable conditions for salmon fishing.
The fish of the week weighed an impressive 12.4 kg (27.2 lbs), becoming the standout catch of the period.
One of the highlights of the week was the success of several newcomers. Rezo, Valeriy, and Dmitry all achieved new personal bests during their stay. Valeriy, in particular, had an outstanding start, landing a magnificent 9.3 kg salmon at Barrel early in the week and continuing to enjoy consistent success throughout his trip.
As always, Vladimir delivered remarkable results, finishing the week with an impressive total of 24 salmon landed. His most productive beats included Waterfall, Domashka, and the East Litza, where he landed several fish between 5 and 9 kg on flies such as W.G., Green McNey, and Red Head.
Excellent catches were also recorded by Maxim, Alexander, Alexey, Rezo, and Vladimir Jr. Anglers enjoyed success on both the Kharlovka and East Litza rivers, with productive pools including Waterfall, Domashka, Barrel, Military, Rock, and the Snezhka sections.
Despite the unpredictable northern weather, spirits remained high throughout the week. Excitement, camaraderie, and memorable encounters with silver Atlantic salmon made this week truly unforgettable.
Our guests left extremely satisfied with both the fishing and the overall experience, and we are already looking forward to the next week of adventures on the Kharlovka and East Litza rivers. 🎣
