Kharlovka Report Week 30 (19–24 July 2026)
The past week was truly unforgettable and reminded us once again why we return to Northern rivers year after year. Despite the steady drop in water levels from –5 to –8, the rivers continued to produce consistent action. Over the course of six fishing days, our guests caught and safely released more than 110 Atlantic salmon, with every day bringing exciting takes, memorable fights, and plenty of smiles on the riverbank.
The fish of the week belonged to Arkady, who landed a magnificent 9.2 kg Atlantic salmon.
Other outstanding catches included Vyacheslav's 7.2 kg
Salmon caught on the Litza River, Denis' 7.0 kg fish,
Pavel's 6.0 kg salmon, and 5.5 kg fish landed by both Maksim and Alexey.
Many other guests enjoyed memorable catches and celebrated new personal milestones throughout the week.
One of the highlights of the week was seeing Maksim fishing together with his children, Zhenya and Maksim.
Family fishing trips always create a special atmosphere, and it was especially rewarding to see both of them achieve new personal bests. Moments like these are every bit as memorable as landing the biggest salmon.
Throughout the week, the most productive flies included Sunray, GK, Tandem, BK, Electra, Francis, Cascade, GB, Penka, and VIMU. The most productive pools were Krasnaya Skala, Litsa Waterfall, Rapids, Rock, Julian, Island, Junction, Mark's Pocket, Domashka, Snezhka, Rugged, and Ledge. Even with low water, salmon continued to show throughout the rivers, proving once again that persistence, careful observation, and the right fly selection are always rewarded.
A huge thank you to all our guests for another fantastic week—for your great company, sportsmanship, respect for the fish, and the unforgettable moments we shared together on the Kharlovka and Litsa rivers. We wish everyone a safe journey home, tight lines wherever your next adventure takes you, and we look forward to welcoming you back next season.
