Kharlovka Report Week 35 (22-28 August 2026)

Final Fishing Report

This week got off to a rather unusual start. Two days of dense fog delayed our guests on their way to camp, and full fishing only began once they finally managed to reach the lodge. The weather remained challenging throughout the week, with cool air, steadily dropping water temperatures and relatively low river levels making conditions far from easy.

Despite all of this, our anglers did an excellent job. More than 50 fish were landed during this shortened week, which is a very good result, especially considering the limited number of full fishing days and the challenging weather conditions.

As the week progressed, the rivers gradually began to come alive, and the fishing became more and more interesting. Our anglers successfully fished the Kharlovka, Litsa and Rynda, finding fish in a variety of pools and beats. There were plenty of grilse, a good number of salmon, and several fish that really stood out as highlights of the week.

Among the most memorable catches was Mikhail’s magnificent 9.8 kg salmon

which was landed in the Home Pool. Andrey also had an excellent fish of 8.6 kg, while Zakhar landed a salmon of 7.8 kg, continuing to build an impressive tally. Victor opened his week with a salmon of around 7 kg, while on the Rynda, Alexey finished one of the days with a superb fish of approximately 7.7 kg. 

The rest of the team also contributed, with new fish appearing in the journal almost every day.

Maxim deserves a special mention for his highly productive day on the Rynda, where he landed several salmon in a single day. Alexander  also had a strong performance across different sections of the rivers,

while Pavel and Victor regularly added grilse to the overall tally.

In the end, it was a short but very rewarding week. More than 50 fish in less than a full week, several excellent salmon and three rivers in play make this a fantastic result. The weather certainly tested our guests, but they never gave up, kept searching for fish and ultimately enjoyed exactly the kind of challenging northern fishing they came here for.
