Kharlovka report, week 27 (27 June - 3 July 2026)

The 27th fishing week turned out to be truly outstanding, filled with memorable moments and unforgettable experiences for our guests. Over the course of the week, more than 130 Atlantic salmon were landed on the Kharlovka and Litza rivers. Fresh fish continued to enter the rivers throughout the week, providing consistent action and exciting fishing every single day.

The week got off to a fantastic start when Alexander landed four salmon in a single day at the Litza Waterfall pool, setting the tone for an exceptional week. From that moment on, each day brought more action, more powerful takes, and more smiling anglers.

One of the highlights of the week was the constant arrival of fresh, sea-run Atlantic salmon. Strong, bright fish provided thrilling battles and unforgettable memories. The trophy of the week was a magnificent 10.6 kg Atlantic salmon. Alongside it, guests landed several outstanding fish weighing 9.9 kg, 8.0 kg, 7.7 kg, 7.5 kg, 6.7 kg, 6.4 kg, 6.0 kg, 5.8 kg, 5.4 kg and 5.0 kg. It was the kind of week every salmon angler dreams about.

The week was memorable not only for the number of fish landed but also for personal milestones. Alexander caught his very first salmon on the Kharlovka—an achievement every salmon angler remembers for a lifetime. Vitaliy also celebrated an impressive catch with a beautiful 8 kg salmon, one of the week's standout fish.

Throughout the week, salmon responded well to a variety of proven fly patterns. The most productive flies included Golden Killer (GK), Persik, Temple Dog, Sunray, PH, and Bonya. Once again, the right fly selection and a bit of luck made all the difference.

Weather conditions remained very favorable throughout the week. Air temperatures ranged from +12°C to +18°C, while water temperatures gradually increased from 12.9°C to 15.9°C. River levels stayed stable, creating excellent fishing conditions.

Yet the true success of the week cannot be measured by numbers alone. It was about the smiles after a successful fight, the excitement of landing a first salmon, encounters with fresh, powerful fish, evenings spent sharing stories in the lodge, and the unforgettable memories that keep drawing us back to these remarkable northern rivers.

A heartfelt thank you to all our guests for your passion, sportsmanship, respect for the fish and the rivers, and for making this week so special. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Kharlovka and Litza rivers for many more unforgettable days, spectacular catches, and new stories yet to be written. Tight lines! 🎣
